These editions present the complete, beautiful watercolor-style illustrations encased in a storybook tuck box for the full thematic experience. Watch the graceful swans take flight as you pull on the interactive tab. This edition focuses on the artistic integrity and narrative depth of each scene.

Court Cards

The same majestic illustrations are presented in their full watercolor splendor, where the artistry of the painter’s hand takes center stage. Here, the royal family is not of blood, but of theme and tale. To hold a court card is to hold a character’s fate in your hand.

Number Cards

The numbered cards are where Andersen’s world is woven into the very fabric of play. Far from mere placeholders, each card is a miniature canvas, rich with narrative intention.

Every pip and numeral has been meticulously redrawn, featuring a custom font and ornate detailing inspired by the delicate ironwork of a fairy tale lantern or the gilt edges of a storybook. The pips themselves are not simply shapes but are subtly integrated with motifs from the tales.
